Classic Kitchari

  • 12oz (435 ml.)

    (Serves 4)

    Ingredients: Basmati rice, split mung beans, coconut, ginger, seasonal pan roasted herbs and spices, Himalayan mineral salt.

    Directions: Add contents to a large pot with 4 cups of water, and 2 Tablespoons of ghee, avocado oil or coconut oil. Add 2 cups of chopped vegetables, such as green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc… Bring to a boil, then immediately cover and simmer on lowest flame for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, and let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

    Garnish with chopped cilantro, and juice of one lime.
